Malaria

Dengue

Hepatitis A

This highly infectious liver disease is caused by the consumption of contaminated food, water, stool, or being in contact with an infected person. The common symptoms include nausea, fatigue, dark urine, appetite loss, jaundice, and nausea.

5. Drink plenty of water and healthy fluids to flush out body toxins.
6. Use hand sanitizer regularly during outdoor travel.
7. Keep food and water covered to protect from flies and mosquitoes.
8. Avoid direct contact with infected patients.

Although monsoon is the season of relishing tangy mouth-watering dishes, however, it also brings along the health issues, weak digestion, and dehydration due to high humidity. Hence we need to ensure taste and health go hand in hand. The list of healthy food includes-

Seasonal fruits like apple, mango, pear, and pomegranates help to conserve energy in the body.
Almonds, yogurt, curd, and purified water maintain the required hydration levels in the body.
Adding garlic to cooking food is recommended as they increase body immunity.
To satiate your taste buds you can gorge on tangy corn, fruit chaat, cooked dishes like idli sambar with coconut chutney, saboodana, upma, oats, etc. to keep a healthy balance between season and food.
